About Us
The love of wine, this island and nature were the motivations for tackling the Tenute Maestrale 2019 project.
For us, working at the winery is more than a professional activity, it is our life, the opportunity to be in contact with nature every day, get to know guests and make lasting friendships.
Sa Spinarba is the name given to the part of Donori where our Tenute Maestrale is located. This beautiful area with its long wine-growing tradition captivated us from the first moment.
In keeping with our vision, we built the press house and agriturismo in the rolling hills of Sa Spinarba. At the same time, we further developed the vineyards and the wines. This is how the jewel Tenute Maestrale was created between 2019 and 2024, reflecting the magic of this special area.
To get to Sardinia there is no other way than to cross the sea. This island, surrounded by the blue brocade of the sea that hugs its sometimes gentle and sometimes harsh coasts, was our first inspiration.
The Tenute Maestrale could not arise in any other part of the world, but only here.
We don't have a long family tradition on the island. Together with our employees, we cultivate the vineyards and look after the area. We see this as the beginning of a long development not only for our company, but also for Donori.
Our work is characterized by respect for local traditions and the protection of nature.
We are proud of the craftsmanship of our employees. Through constant innovation and the use of modern technology, we continually develop our wines and our business.
Ultimately, everything serves our overarching goal of operating sustainably. This results in long-term positive effects for employees and the social environment, the environment and our company.
As a result of our commitment, we were rewarded with European organic product certification in 2023.
